ABOUT OUR PILATES CLASSES
IN PARK CITY, UTAH
Pilates and the Pilates Method are terms that a lot of people have heard of but don’t really understand. At the Good Movement Studio we wanted to make it simple, that’s why we like to think of the practice of Pilates as being the practice of Good Movement. If we move well in our bodies, we should be able to feel a sense of freedom in that movement, be confident we have the strength and lastly comfort in the knowledge that we can continue to grow and climb towards our fitness goals without limitation.
Classes at The Good Movement Studio incorporate the use of Balanced Body reformers and a variety of small props. We have a maximum of eight participants to every class, ensuring that our passionate and experienced instructors are not only leading the class they are taking the time to offer individual corrections and enhancements to each participant.
Good Movement Studio Classes vary in the level of challenge provided allowing you, our main focus, to choose what works best for your body.

PERSONAL PILATES SESSIONS
Personal sessions are an individual training session that can be customized to meet your specific needs and wants. A personal Good Movement session is highly recommended as the starting point for rehabilitation and healing after an injury or child birth. It is also a fantastic opportunity to explore and challenge your Pilates practice in a one on one setting. You may simply to prefer to work out in a one on one environment, instead of a class setting.
All personal sessions include a postural analysis and movement evaluation and will use various pieces of Pilates equipment to help you reach your fitness goals. We will work closely and as needed with your physician, physical therapist, midwife and any other medical professional to ensure we nurture a holistic approach to your rehabilitation or work out.
DUET + TRIO PILATES SESSIONS
Duets and Trios are a fun and cost effective way for you to fast track the benefits of your Pilates practice. Come with a friend or make a new friend, while deepening your understanding and increasing the benefits from your Pilates workout.
Cheer each other on as you share in the excitement of seeing yourselves becoming stronger, leaner and more powerful.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Pilates Reformer
This all levels Pilates reformer class is sure to get your moving from head to toe. The reformer is our most popular Pilates equipment and there is a reason for that- it makes you shake and quake but it also makes you feel the oh-so-good stretch! Join us for the 1-hour class to get all your body parts working and shaking and stretching. Your body will thank you! This class may utilize the Pilates chair, and other props.
Pilates Reformer Stretch & Strength
Come unwind from your busy work week with our Restorative Reformer class. An hour of movement with the intention of restoring your body and mind. Focus on posture, strengthening and lengthening the body, and stretching all those tight areas. This is a Restorative Reformer Class. All levels welcome.
Athletic Reformer
This class will be HIGH ENERGY, will use HEAVY SPRINGS, and you may experience lots of REPETITIONS. Expect to have more dynamic movements.
We will mostly use the reformer but pepper in chair and other props like jump board, weights, bands. This class is ideal for those who have been practicing Pilates and are ready to take their practice to a new level. A total body workout that focuses on building strength, improving stability and challenging endurance. Build power in your movements while toning and lengthening your muscles.
Strength/Fitness/Conditioning
Join us in our gym space for a progressive strength & conditioning class. This class will help build strength and flexibility in your body, while challenging your balance to keep you more upright and mobile. Get strong, Get fit with this super fun functional fitness class. Open to all levels and abilities. Don't forget your running shoes and water!
Pilates with Props
All levels reformer class. Join us for an hour of Pilates reformer work + all the props you can imagine- foam roller, magic circle, hand weights, small ball, wooden dowel... Each week we will feature a new prop to help challenge your core stability and mindful movement. Props are always fun and can help take your Pilates practice to the next level.
